Here are all the athletes of TriBiz, sorted by their respective professions. Everyone listed here is a triathlete - they participate in our sport, and are trying to connect with other like-minded people. So please don't hesitate to get in contact with them. To Add Yourself To the List, simply log onto this page as an author (username: tribizbyprofession@gmail.com, password: swimbikerun), and edit a short writeup into the main post. I'll check in here every so often to make sure the content is accurate, and the presentation is attractive, but really, the page is yours to create. If you have any problems, or you'd like to put up a feature on the main page, email me at multisportmaps@gmail.com.

Building/Construction

Toby Wells. Putney, VT - Toby is a friend of mine who lives, works and trains out of southern Vermont. He heads a crew of carpenters for his father's business, Wells and Co. Builders - they do nice and thorough work. After work, Toby fits in the time to be a top-shelf amateur athlete too, which is impressive in itself. You can email Toby directly at wells.tj@gmail.com, or you can call the company line at 802.869.2799.

Coaching/Personal Training

Andie Bernard. Boulder, CO - Besides being my roomate's girlfriend, and eating all my peanut butter cookies, Andie is a well-known personal trainer and tri-coach in the Boulder area. She trains people out of the RallySport Club (one of the best in Boulder), and even cooler, runs a women-only tri club complete with group workouts, good coaching, and a pink race kit. You can email Andie directly at andie@bouldertribabes.org, or visit her website at www.bouldertribabes.org

Amy VanTassel. Marlboro, VT - Amy helps to run admissions at Marlboro College, a real small but neat school outside of Brattleboro. If you’re looking at Marlboro, or if you’re just looking for some insight on the college process, drop Amy an email: avantassel@marlboro.edu.

Chris Bagg. Putney, VT - Though Chris is jonesin’ pretty bad to move out here to Boulder, he is, for the time being, teaching English at The Putney School – a small, private and progressive boarding school in Southern Vermont. He races on a pro card, and by my standards, is wicked fast. You can email him at chrisbagg@gmail.com, can see where he works here, or for a good read, you can check out his blog here.

Pere Selles. Lyons, CO - Pere (pronounced ‘per-ah’) co-founded a food distribution company, Culinary Collective, that specializes in international food – items like olive oil from Spain or honey from Chile – low-production, high-quality type products that embody the place they come from.
